What People Say
Most Liked
Customers rave about the extensive menu, featuring everything from tacos to tortas and seafood options. The carne asada tacos are a standout favorite, often described as bursting with flavor. The portions are generous, especially for the seafood platters, making them a great value for the price. Many diners appreciate the prompt service and authentic recipes that transport your taste buds straight to Mexico.
Additionally, the warm atmosphere and friendly waitstaff add to the positive dining experience, making it a place where families feel at home. For a cozy and inviting meal, Riko Burrito wins high praise, attracting both regulars and newcomers.
Most Disliked
Despite its many strengths, some diners feel that the space can be a bit cramped during peak hours, especially on busy Saturday evenings. This can lead to longer wait times for both seating and food, which may deter some from visiting during prime hours. Additionally, a few reviews mentioned that while the prices for seafood options are reasonable due to large portions, some specific dishes may feel slightly pricier compared to others on the menu.
There is also a sentiment that parking can be a challenge during rush hours, especially when nearby street spaces fill up quickly. Some customers express a desire for more outdoor seating to accommodate those looking to enjoy their meal al fresco.

Amazing service. Great waitresses and authentic food. What else could you ask for

This small, local business has great authentic Mexican food. The newest additions to their menu are seafood options. And though the prices are higher for those platters, the serving portions are huge and the quality is great, making the price very understandable. The stuffed pineapple was amazing! A bit on the spicier side, if that's something you're worried about. Overall this is a great spot to go to for some great Mexican food, and you're also supporting a small business. Wins all around.

I ordered mixed Fajitas with fries and they were fire! Tell them you want the Rob special it’s with fries just kidding. But this place is a solid 9 1/2 out of 10 on the fajitas.

This place is delicious. Food is made to order. We tried the quesabirria, sopes, tacos and flauta dinners along with the tasty salsas they bring out for you to try.

Absolutely Excellent!!!! I have been dying to try the Barria Tacos and Riko’s did not disappoint!! I loved everything (the tacos, sauce, beans and rice). I will definitely return to try the chicken version. 🙂

I'm just mad I didn't discover this place sooner. One of the best taco places in the heights. The pastor was on point and the asada was well seasoned, tender and not fatty or full of gristle. Today I tried the quesobirria. Meat was tender and the consumé was rich. Next is civeche. Give it a try.
